Technology is my passion. Big time.
I like toys. Some small. Some big. Some you can touch and some can only touch you. The world is my playground and it's never closed and always fun.

Technical Experience:
See LinkedIn profile » Over the past 10+ years I have worked with many various technologies across different projects. I possess experience and deep knowledge of the following key areas:
- . NET (1 - 4.5)
- Windows Workflow Foundation
- Windows Presentation Foundation
- Windows Communication Foundation
- SQL
- VSTO
- ASP . NET
- Java Script & jQuery
I perceive programming and software architecture as a form of visual art.
I have experience in front end design for both desktop and web though I enjoy the most to work with the back-end architecture. This is what I do, and I absolutely love it. -
Education
During my school years I lived in Odessa where I attended the most prestigious school, Lyceum No 1, in the heart of the the city.
After I moved to Sydney I gained a degree in Computer Science which I acquired over several years of studying first at University of Technology (UTS) and then the University of Western Sydney (UWS).

Personal is the foundation of professional
I'm a pretty easy going and chilled out guy. I like good company, good food and good music. A good puzzle can consume me, yet I'm not a gamer. I play drums, don't gamble and like anything mechanical. I have been to a lot of technology exhibitions and museums and some day would like to rebuild the robotic hand in the Power House Museum.
When off the clock, I spend time with my family and friends. Typically exploring new horizons, experiencing new food and beverage establishments or watching thrilling movies. I like yoga and sometimes I annoy my neighbours with my drumming.

Hobby Projects
Over the years I undertook a number of little hobby projects that piqued my interest for various reasons. These experiments are attractive to me because they let me explore new ideas, learn the yet unknown and fulfil the greater need for intelligent entertainment:
- Home automation (CBUS)
- Circuit board design & soldering
- Home and car multimedia integration
- Infrared USB & RS232 learning remote
- Smart card reader/writer
- Magnetic card reader/writer
- Numerous digital utilities to make life easier
- This very website (just check the source code!)
I like explorative photography. Whenever I get a chance, I try to find new places to explore and shoot with my cameras. These are usually derelict, decadent places with fascinating history often forgotten in the present days.
I explored the unused train and tram tunnels, power stations, victorian gothic castles and Glebe tram sheds.

Cloud Workflow & Document Platform
For the past few years I have been heavily involved with an in-house product development project. We have recently released our platform that is best described as user extensible BPM system that has tasking component, document assembly and connects to other online and offline platforms through connector plugins. While being too generic to describe it completely in essence it is a tool that lets businesses save resources by making the internal and external processes more efficient and consistent.
During my employment I have gained and developed a vast majority of technical and interpersonal skills. I have gained experience in architecting multi-tenant frameworks, designing and implementing custom tailored software solutions as well as requirements gathering and analysis.

Ignite Financial Systems & Research
Ignite FSR was the research arm of the Storm Financial, the financial planning business which gave advice across the broad spectrum of financial products such as investments, unit trusts, superannuation and margin loans. Storm had over 150 staff and 13,000 clients across Australia with $4.5 billion of funds under advice.
Working at Ignite FSR I have participated in the development of the main business software system, Phormula, that has subsequently been used by the staff of Storm Financial to administer various business tasks, schedule tasks and meetings and perform complex financial reporting and forecasting.

Sydney Waste Services
A private Sydney company that is the leader in efficient & environmentally sound solutions to waste management needs.
I have solely developed the scheduling system for SWS which allows the managing staff to allocate resources in the most efficient manner. The company operates a variety of vehicles and uses the system I developed to schedule, group and route these vehicles across the clients' locations in order to facilitate pick up.

Honeywell
I have worked at Honeywell a couple of times, first as an intern and then later on as an employee. I spent most of the time in their repair centre where they receive products that require warranty repairs carried out and/or to be serviced.
It was a great place to work with friendly culture that has earned me an Employee Recognition Certificate.

UNSW Centrally Allocated Teaching Space
During one of my very first work trials I have worked at UNSW's Centrally Allocated Teaching Space department. It was a fun and busy place to work. I have helped to maintain all the equipment in all auditoriums in working order.
As part of my duties I had to repair some equipment, including computers, projectors, AV equipment and lighting. Because all the equipment is constantly used by the lecturers and students I had to liaise with university staff to schedule access and repairs at times that were convenient to all.
A great experience and recommendation earned!

Nexway
I have worked at Nexway while still studying. I have worked on a range of different projects the biggest one of which was the GPS system for BHP. Back then GPS systems were not available through retail like they are these days and no one even dreamed of having one in their phone.
This project played a profound role in my technical development as I have helped design schematics and printed circuit boards, solder the components, work with the firmware for microprocessors and programmable logic devices and debug it all to make it production ready.
This is how I got into serious programming.

Computers & Audio/Video
I have worked at Myer part time while studying. Naturally, I worked in the computer department where I got a chance to not only sell and repair computers but also to learn the aspect and importance of communicating with clients and working as a team.
Those days seem so far in the past yet the experience I gained from it is still very relevant and useful.
